After 5 very successful years of promoting Fight Like A Girl Breast Cancer Awareness it was decided to widen the horizons of our fundraising efforts and Fight Hard Cancer Awareness has been created.
Fight Like A Girl was founded in 2013, when Emily Davey whilst on chemotherapy attempted "The Tough One" (extreme enduro) with the slogan "Fight Like A Girl" on her kit and graphics sponsored by LR Designs.
The support since those first steps has been overwhelming. In 2014 the Fight Like A Girl race team was born, consisting of female racers from Enduro and Motocross ranging from auto's to adults. We have also had many male riders and British championship teams getting involved and wanting to run the logo on their bikes. The team have been involved in many fundraising events throughout the years including Beach Races, Motocross Pink Days, Girls Nationals, Flag Fest, Parachute jumps and many more.
During this time we have raised over £25,000.00 with proceeds going to many cancer charities including Marie Curie, Cancer Research uk, Bowel cancer uk and Friends of Huck. We have used a lavender ribbon on all the new merchandise because this colour is one used to cover all cancers, we hope that Fight Hard will now reach more people.
Please come and say hi to the guys and girls and have a look at our range of official merchandise on sale at the show including hoodies, t-shirts, teddies, hats, decal kits, race shirts and much much more!
